“A Country Calendar and Other Writings” was a charming look into the world of the Larkrise to Candleford story. Its place is near the end, as Flora/Laura was an adult. Other writings discuss her earning money to support her family by writing about her observations about nature. This books contains these writings. It also contains another book covering her adult life that she did not publish during her lifetime. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and will read it again.
